He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. - John 21:17

2 Weeks ... it's Like Overtime!

I'm getting nervous now, and more than anything because we have some people coming up that should be getting baptized both of these next two weeks and I'm praying everything works out perfectly and that the Lord is extremely merciful with us, because I want to end on a high note and have Elder Crandall's mission start off right! PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY! The rest will soon follow, yikes I'm feeling excited and nervous it's like a sports season coming to an end again and the big state title or something hahaha:)

I Did It!

So this week was great, we have a group of people we are working with and the area is finally looking good again. It's been great the Lord is blessing us a lot with tender mercies and this week should be great with general conf. We have my last zone conf this week, I'm prepped for prez to throw lots of dead jokes my way. My compa is great always has a solid attitude and learns quick so nothing to complain. Hasta next week everybody! :)

It's Already Week 3 of the Transfer ... Dang!

Solid week it was the first time we have met the ward since last week was stake conf. The work is starting to pic up and our teaching pool is growing. The work is moving, we are working from ground up, not much has happened here in a long time and well there is a lot to do! So we've been hitting the grind and working hard, it's like when you push a car the hardest part is getting it moving and then once it does you can have it cruise pretty good so we are still trying to get it moving and it'll start really cruising as my time in this area comes to a close hahaha but ta bueno. We have some peeps looking good for oct, we'll see how many I'll get to be here for. oh and the Caudillos hoping are getting sealed in Oct before I bounce!! My compa has a great attitude Idk if I told you he's a greenie. It's kind of nice because I have a way I like to do things and since he really doesn't know anything we can do it however I think is best which is kinda nice but I also like to council. I love ya bye!

What I feel describes my area pretty well, we were trying to find
a future elder's house and this is where the GPS took us. hahaha

Well Mijo #2 is great. Elder Crandall - he's a baller from Utah and doesn't know what people are saying yet because we are in Edinburg teaching in Spanish. It's a white wash and things are going great, we have seen soooo many miracles. The hand of God is so active here in this work!

Sorry mom for the short letters but we are trying to get on the rizo and get lots done, I promise in 5 weeks I'll answer all the questions people want and tell all the stories:) But I'm doing great I love it here in TEXAS/ZION!

Patty & I got booted from the office.

Hurricane for Real

**No letter from David this week, only photos. He is serving in the mission office as an assistant to the president and so his life is pretty full right now as they evacuated all missionaries from the Corpus Christi areas down to McAllen until the worst of the hurricane passes. Based on these photos, it looks like everyone is doing fine.

Heyo

I got to take a trip up to Beeville this week and so Prez gave me permission to go visit a few peeps:) The Flores had the Ruiz fam over for a noche de hogar it was sweet!

So since I'm coming home soon everyone can just ask me stories in person so here's the pics - as I count there is 6,000 words there so that's the long email :)

by a member as a surprise!

WEEKLY QUESTION:
Do you get to tour the mission with the President at all when there are zone conferences?
We don't go to zone conferences but we get around the mission on exchanges and other meetings, and on ETs and on other trips the president has us run. We go out to work with him and eat at his house and join him in his Sunday studies with his kids and different things and so we still get plenty of Pepe without the pain of traveling for ZC.

It's the Final Countdown!

So all of my shirts are ripping in the same place just from usage and so now I'm doing laundry multiple times per week hahaha. We found out that Brother Flores is being called to the bishopric and he doesn't even have the Melchizedek priesthood yet and so they're giving it to him as an assignment and then later it will be his calling and he will also be a primary teacher hahah.  Transfers went well I was sooooooo tired last week :) I should just have one more in the office and then I'll probs leave to go train somewhere. My compa and I are still kicking it and having fun. MLC is on Thur and we need to prep for that now, I'm up with Elder Spencer today and tomorrow in Laredo working. not much else to report.
