It's the Final Countdown!

So all of my shirts are ripping in the same place just from usage and so now I'm doing laundry multiple times per week hahaha. We found out that Brother Flores is being called to the bishopric and he doesn't even have the Melchizedek priesthood yet and so they're giving it to him as an assignment and then later it will be his calling and he will also be a primary teacher hahah.  Transfers went well I was sooooooo tired last week :) I should just have one more in the office and then I'll probs leave to go train somewhere. My compa and I are still kicking it and having fun. MLC is on Thur and we need to prep for that now, I'm up with Elder Spencer today and tomorrow in Laredo working. not much else to report.

Eternal Ordinances for the Win!

So the Flores family had their wedding on Friday, were baptized, confirmed, and ordained to the Aaronic priesthood that same night. Then the next day we all went up together to the temple. That morning we helped them find family names for themselves and then take them to the temple. We got special permission from the stake to be able to do it. And they all loved it!! Man that temple is gorgeous! Then on Sunday the father blessed the sacrament and the son passed it. Then the bishopric invited them up as a family to share their testimonies of how their experiences were and it was amazing! So pray for this week the Martinez family and Miguel we are trying to help them to go down this week:)

Maria Went Down!

So Maria was baptized and it was great. Her brothers prayed and her parents spoke and the room was packed and a family friend baptized her! Her fam is working towards getting married and baptized on their mom's bday so pray for that! The work is flying.

Happy Canada Day & 4th!

We had a fun week most of these pics are from last pday Today they're doing like water balloon stuff but I'm pooped and so is my compa so we are going to  hit it cleaning the house a little extra instead. 

Tonight we have a family home evening going down with the Torres fam and the Flores fam. This week we had some great blessings and some awesome miracles. The Lord is great to us. This coming week is a special MLC with all the stake prezs coming, the area 70 and some big boys from Salt Lake and so that'll be good for the work. It's time to turn the corner on missionary work down here and see things really take off it'll be great! 

Maria is going down this weekend which will be great! She's been so excited she's been waiting forever to be able to be baptized so it'll really be a great opportunity down here for her and her family. She's a stud I love teaching her.
